foodie finds

Five foodie-finds for Friday, March 29th.

March 29, 2013 Leave a Comment

Helloooo Friday!  Are you home from work and kicking back today?  Kick up your heels and check out today’s foodie finds.  I think they are extra fun because all of them are from etsy.

1.

Vintage yellow plates from the 80s. These are like, so totally rad, like, ya know?  Like, totally. If you had these plates gracing your family dinner, I guarantee your dinner will never be boring.

2.

Gourmet dried figs. These dried figs are produced without sulpher, chemicals, sugar, or the “middle man.” Perfect for snacking or rehydrating to add to ice cream and baking dishes.

3.

Handpainted wooden serving tray.  Doesn’t this tray just SCREAM summertime?  Picture this will a nice refreshing flight of ice-cold drinks with an itsy bitsy swivel stick with orange slices.  You want it.

4.

Waterproof picnic blanket.  Did you determine that you would go outside and play more in 2013?  Fulfill that desire by taking more picnics!  Etsy is full of handmade picnic blankets yet this one appeals to me since it is handmade in Kenya.

5.

Eat-more-salad hand stamped salad servers.  Be the coolest kid on the block with these at your next potluck, Sunday dinner, or well, every night!  These are stamped on vintage silver tongs so yours will be unique to you.

Keep coming back every Friday for more foodie finds.

Happy Friday!

Lyndi

Eat well, my friends. Eat well.

inspiration

“Just like becoming an expert in wine–you learn by drinking it, the best you can afford–you learn about great food by finding the best there is, whether simply or luxurious. Then you savor it, analyze it, and discuss it with your companions, and you compare it with other experiences.” – Julia Child
