Remember that childhood jingle: “Eat it or wear it?”
Well now you can wear something that declares your love affair with eating!
One lucky reader will get to own this sterling silver foodie charm!  Gratis!  Free!  No Cost to You!
My sister Stacey, jewelry designer at StormFlight Designs, created this one-of-a-kind handmade charm specifically at my request for one of you!  She specializes in sterling silver and really has an incredible passion and talent to design unique items that are great conversation pieces.  I know, I know, she’s my sister and I am taking a little liberty to brag.  But seriously, she’s amazing!  If you have the chance to check out her other designs, please do!  Anyone that wants to buy something from her just has to mention my name and they will get an automatic 10% discount!
This sterling silver “foodie” charm would look fantastic on a silver chain.  It measures approximately 1 ½” long and ¾” wide and there are two jump-rings that allows you to slip onto a chain.
Is this something you could see yourself wearing?  Or your mom? (Mother’s day is coming up, you know.)  How about your sister or best friend?  Let’s not leave the men-folk out.  C’mon how many of you guys out there are dying to add this to your key chain or belt?
Well perhaps today is your lucky day!
Prize:
1 lucky winner will receive this sterling silver “foodie” charm valued at $38.00. Contest ends Saturday, May 1st, at midnight (CDT).  I will pick a winner via randomizer on Sunday, May 2nd.
Eligibility:
Leave me a comment, preferable with your twitter or blog name to make it easy to contact you.  That’s it!  I would love to hear about to whom you plan on giving it to if you win!  Or tell me why you love being a foodie!  Or what you think about the foodie charm my sister created or any of the other jewelry she has designed and posted on her site!  Basically, I am just looking forward to your comments.  It’s what makes all of this so rewarding!
Good luck to all!
No purchase necessary to enter. Contest void where prohibited. Contest open to members who are 18 years or older. Contest open only to US residents only.

Hi! I "know" Stacey from hanging out with her on Etsy/Twitter. Her work is beautiful. Not sure what I would do with the foodie charm…but I'm sure I could come up with something! Best of luck with the contest. –Suz

I started my food blog for one reason I am a double breast cancer survivor, I was eating all the wrong things and not living a good life style, we are now organic, natural and no preservatives.. hoping to get a few more years with my 7 grand baby's!!!

I think I would keep it for myself because I'm definitely a foodie, but I might give it to my niece. Thanks for the giveaway and for stopping by my blog.

    Hello Lyndi,
I would keep the charm and wear it myself. I think it is beautiful
and I like things that are a little different and this is so cool!
Since I had the gastric bypass, I can not eat very much food. I can
do almost a cup at a meal now and that will be about my limit from now on
I gather. (Per the doctor I still need to lose 8 more pounds. Thunder
Thighs!) So, the little bit I am able to eat, I want to have extreme
flavor. Not hot but, full of flavor. And as I chew the food, it helps.
I have to chew it to 'apple sauce consistency' and who wants to chew
something bland? Not me! Also I find, it the food has a lot of flavor
and I chew it up very well, you can be happy with eating less! Taking
the time to chew it up well, takes time! And so, when you are full, you
will know it before you are stuffed! And that is a good thing! On the
news they are forever talking about society getting heavier all the
time. So, this is something to consider. Always, Mary

You will find that I talk a lot about food because we all need to eat. Why not add little bits of food joy where possible?

“Just like becoming an expert in wine–you learn by drinking it, the best you can afford–you learn about great food by finding the best there is, whether simply or luxurious. Then you savor it, analyze it, and discuss it with your companions, and you compare it with other experiences.” – Julia Child
