Snacks and lunch bags are on my mind.

March 28, 2014 1 Comment

I like to keep snacks on hand and ready-to-go when I leave the house. How about you? Are you taking good care of yourself when it comes to keeping grown-up snacks on hand? This article of mine about snack packs was featured on peekaboonwa today.

I wish I had an entire closet full of insulated lunch bags, containers, bottles, and all-things-storage containers. Does that make me obsessed?  How about you? Are you looking for inspiration on grown-up lunch bags?  These are fun.  This article of mind about lunch bag foodie finds was featured on Arkansas Women Bloggers today.

I always keep snacks on-hand, especially since I have kids and had pre-diabetes a couple of years ago. I like to have dry goods that won't easily perish such as crackers, crunchy cheese sticks, granola bars and trail mix. It sure beats stopping for fast foods – saves money and our health!

“Just like becoming an expert in wine–you learn by drinking it, the best you can afford–you learn about great food by finding the best there is, whether simply or luxurious. Then you savor it, analyze it, and discuss it with your companions, and you compare it with other experiences.” – Julia Child
