Try Fish City Grill next time you’re in Rogers (even if you’re not in the mood for fish).

While the Pinnacle Promenade Mall in Rogers, Arkansas may have grossly missed the boat with their food court options in my opinion; they definitely make up for it with their restaurant anchors.
One restaurant in particular is Fish City Grill, sandwiched between Pottery Barn and Solstice on the Southside of the mall entrance.  Once you enter, the ambiance of part-diner, part-bar, and part-family-style décor greets you comfortably.
There are a plethora of seafood options on the menu and a daily chalkboard that details specials that tempt you to try them before they disappear.  Since I don’t eat shellfish of any kind, the daily chalkboard usually has to-die-for fresh entrees of seafood such as Dover sole, mahi mahi, flounder, or trout.  For example, yesterday’s options included tortilla crusted dover sole with pico cream sauce for $12.99 or panko crusted rainbow trout with creamy thai sauce for $11.99.
Not in the mood for fish?  No problem.  I recommend the grilled blackened chicken with rice pilaf and vegetables for $8.99 (substitute the rice pilaf for new potatoes, a much-better choice) and Hugo’s Louisiana pot roast, rubbed with Cajun spices, slow-roasted with carrots and potatoes for $8.59 (better yet, do what I did yesterday… take home the leftovers and stir-fry with potatoes and onions and make a pot roast taco for dinner.  Wow, good eats!).
While Fish City Grill is a chain, don’t let that deter you next time your shopping at the Promenade.  Stop in, grab a bite to eat, a drink to sip, and enjoy a good meal.
