I absolutely cannot tell you how many times I have family, friends, and party-strangers comment on this salsa! It’s quick, easy, and tastes great!First, a shout-out to Jon and Nikki who gave me this recipe. In fact, I named it after them (although apparently they have a shout-out to Dana-Ray because that is who gave the recipe to them!)

Jon & Nikki Salsa

1 can (28oz) diced tomatoes, drained (Hunts is my fav)
1 can (10oz) Mexican Rotel, drained (I use the Original)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1 heaping tablespoon dried cilantro

Blend until smooth. Served chilled.

“Just like becoming an expert in wine–you learn by drinking it, the best you can afford–you learn about great food by finding the best there is, whether simply or luxurious. Then you savor it, analyze it, and discuss it with your companions, and you compare it with other experiences.” – Julia Child
