Five Foodie Finds for Friday September 19 2014 (c)nwafoodie

After viewing countless videos of your ice-bucket-challenges, holding my breath with anticipation to see that moment of ice shower shock, I came to a realization.

America, you seriously need to update your ice bucket collection.

These little dandies will do just the trick.

1.

Crate and Barrel. This beautifully designed and curvaceous ice bucket is the newest edition to the Carter Collection. Classic in style yet trendy enough to leave out on the countertop.

2.

Pottery Barn. Are you into leather chairs, old pipe collections, whiskey neat, and have patches on your sports jacket elbows?  This ice bucket is so you.  Channel your inner Rockefeller.

3.

Vintage. You don’t want to be like everyone else, do you?  If so, vintage is the route you must take and etsy has a plethora for you to choose from.

4.

Pier 1. See-through glass is so every day.  How about glass tortoise shell?

5.

West Elm. Are you a mixture of modern and functional? This white wooded ice bucket is more of an ice-box yet the interior is a stainless steel ice bucket.  Perfect for those who want their gadgets to have the flexibility to perform double-duty and pretty enough to  leave out.

Eat well, my friends. Eat well.

inspiration

“Just like becoming an expert in wine–you learn by drinking it, the best you can afford–you learn about great food by finding the best there is, whether simply or luxurious. Then you savor it, analyze it, and discuss it with your companions, and you compare it with other experiences.” – Julia Child
