Five Foodie Finds for Friday, January 31st.

Football is over-rated.

These bowls are super.

1.

Painted enamel grey bowls. Handmade by Brazilian artisans with a 12-step process, these bowls are perfect for indoors or out.  Bonus points, they are dishwasher safe. Score!

2.

Dansk Kobenstyle yellow 4-quart casserole. This gorgeous sunshiny enameled steel casserole bowl with lid is so pretty that you will want to leave it out your countertop. Originally designed in 1956, this find is newly re-introduced after over twenty years since its last production date.  Perfect for dishing up a bowl of soup. Versatile enough to work double-duty as a chip bowl or salad bowl. Score!

3.

Vintage jadeite bowl. It doesn’t get much better than vintage jadeite folks. The telltale light green lets folks know that you mean business in the kitchen.  No plastic chip bowls for you.  No wait-let-me-find-and-grab-a-boring-dish-for-salsa for you.  Nothing but unique and interesting for you.  This is your bowl.  Although it may be someone else’s bowl if you don’t act quickly.  Score!

4.

Mauviel m’passion copper mixing bowls. Take your egg whites to the next level with an authentic French copper mixing bowl.  It is un-beat-able. Score!

5.

Grapefruit bowls. Because. Just because. Touch down.

In all of my kitchen(s) supplies, there's not a single copper bowl. I'm not sure I can call myself a true foodie:( Your post "bowled" me over:)

inspiration

“Just like becoming an expert in wine–you learn by drinking it, the best you can afford–you learn about great food by finding the best there is, whether simply or luxurious. Then you savor it, analyze it, and discuss it with your companions, and you compare it with other experiences.” – Julia Child
