All five of today’s foodie finds are all foodstuffs. No gadgets.
What can I say, I am hungry!
1.
White balsamic vinegar jelly. This vinegar is described as “deliciously light and subtly sweet.” That sounds perfect, thank you. I will have mine atop an olive oil grilled hard bread smeared with mashed avocados.
2.
French supreme sauce with tarragon. Hmmm… why wouldn’t you want to try this? Word on the street is that is excellent on poultry and pasta.
3.
Black winter truffle peelings. These peelings are the real-deal from real Périgord truffles. They add the perfect touch to sauces. Use it when you aren’t in the mood for #2.
4.
Coffee creamer No. 12. There is also a German name for it: Bärenmarke Der CremigeTraum Nr.12. Annnnnd that is why I call it coffee creamer No. 12. I also want to call it mine since it had me when I discovered that this gem is condensed milk with an“improved with a twist of finest cream.”
5.
Bavarian pretzel. Sorry Snyders, it’s time for a real Bavarian pretzel actually made in Bavaria. These are baked from a centuries old recipe dating back to the 1700s. Yeah, the 1700s.
