Panel session from #AWBU #foodiefriday2012

Ever thought about becoming a food blogger?

Have you been kicking around the idea of starting your own blog but not sure where to start?

Have you been thinking, “hey, I’m a really good cook/baker/reviewer/foodie/eater and I should share what I know with others?”

Yes.

Yes.

Yes.

Okay, your first step is to surround yourself with seasoned food and lifestyle bloggers and jump-start your idea. One way to get started is to attend a food blog conference.

You’re in luck.

Next Friday, September 5th, is the third annual Arkansas Women Bloggers #foodiefriday food bloggers conference being held at the Shewmaker Center for Global Business at

Northwest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) in Bentonville.

That’s right, a food blogging conference in our very own backyard!

The cost is extremely affordable at $40 per person and takes place from noon until 5pm but you have act fact because registration ends on Sunday.

Registrationends on Sunday, August 31st

If you are worried that you have not even figured out what to call your food blog or that you are not a woman, don’t fret, because those are not prerequisites.  All you need to do is sign up and come with the expectation of learning a few tricks of the trade and getting started on building your community.

Will you come join us?

“Just like becoming an expert in wine–you learn by drinking it, the best you can afford–you learn about great food by finding the best there is, whether simply or luxurious. Then you savor it, analyze it, and discuss it with your companions, and you compare it with other experiences.” – Julia Child
