Apparently, January is a soup-prolific month.

January is National Soup Month (c)nwafoodie

In honor of National Soup Month (that would be now), I decided to browse the search bar on the ol’ blog and see how many soups we shared together over the years.

We had ten.

Ten!

Ten steaming bowls lifted up to the virtual nostril with eyes closed and then we deeply inhaled their liquid lusciousness.

Lusciousnesses?

Mmmmm.

Good times.

Here they are, in no particular order.  I figured you might want some soup inspiration this weekend. Please share your favorite soups with me, too.  Cool?

1.

Creamy butternut squash soup.  Yes, please.

3.
Fast and easy egg-drop soup. Who knew that eggs in a soup could be so mind-blowing?

4.
Better than Whole Foods chicken tortilla soup. It’s hard to mess with perfection but I did.

Cream of chunky carrot soup. Carrots are the new “it” ingredient for 2015 (I may have just made that up).

Drop off chicken soup to a sick friend. Or it can be butternut squash soup, French onion soup, egg drop soup, chicken tortilla soup, orzo and squash soup, carrot soup, or shitake mushroom soup. You’re so nice.

I first tried Kevin’s Cauliflower Mac n Cheese when it was a special buy at Aldi’s. The ingredients were simple and pure, and we were delighted to discover they tasted great!

The correct answer is all of them! But mostly, you can’t have Thanksgiving without turkey, sweet potatoes, and veggies. It’s un-American.

This crazy-awesome pie is stuffed with an abundance of shredded turkey, sweet potatoes, corn, peas, and gravy – Ding! Ding! Ding! – You guessed correctly! It also has ooey-gooey cheese and sour cream to add a layer of comforting delight.

Link in bio for my Thanksgiving-inspired pot pie that uses three @wickspies 8″ raw circles. One for the base and two to cut lattice strips (using a ravioli cutter) so that it looks extra pretty. Of course, you could just use two raw circles. One for the base and one for the top. Just cut some slits on the top crust so that some ooey-gooey delightfulness can do its thang.
