Hello January.

Thank you for enabling me to burn a fire in the fireplace 24/7.  The radiant heat pouring forth from beyond the screen is toasty, cozy, and deeeelightful.  It’s perfect for curling up with a nice cup of java (mornings) or glass of savory cabernet (evenings) and letting the mind drift away (continually).  It’s perfect for reminiscing over memories these past twelve months.

What a ride.

I just ran through my archives for 2013 and these posts were your favorites.

1.

“Kornering” Kelly in her kitchen.

2.

Oh fiddle-dee-dee, try the fiddlehead ferns.

3.

10 Northwest Arkansas food blogs you should be reading in 2013.

4.

Looking for a stainless steel water pitcher – not plastic?

5.

Egg drop soup.  It’s fast, easy, and perfect.

It delights me to see that your top five span my favorite categories: kitchen tours, ingredients that rock, supporting nwa, cool gadgets, and foodie recipe recreations.  You make me feel balanced and well rounded.

Thanks for your visits.

I love them.

Hugs.

Eat well, my friends. Eat well.

Lyndi

It's funny that you would say that because as I typed this yesterday I thought, "hmmmm…. I need to make egg drop soup tomorrow!"

My name is Lyndi Fultz, and I live in the beautiful Ozark Mountains, which span Northwest Arkansas and Southwest Missouri.

I like to share small ideas for living simply and eating happily.

You will find that I talk a lot about food because we all need to eat. Why not add little bits of food joy where possible?

inspiration

“Just like becoming an expert in wine–you learn by drinking it, the best you can afford–you learn about great food by finding the best there is, whether simply or luxurious. Then you savor it, analyze it, and discuss it with your companions, and you compare it with other experiences.” – Julia Child
