Five foodie-finds for Friday, July 19th.

Happy Friday.

Are you enjoying your summer and making the most of outdoor living?  It is never too late to act like your twelve-year-old-self and run around barefoot in the backyard.

Go on, live a little.

Today’s five foodie finds for Friday are meant to keep you outside.

1.

Portable bamboo wine table. If you had this portable table then everywhere you go would be an instant party. Perfect for the park, beach, soccer field, back yard, front yard, side yard, and yes, even next to the bonfire pit during your next family camping trip.  Nothing says “foodie” more than a portable wine table at a campsite.

2.

Mango pulp vinegar. Not much is more refreshing than a simple just-picked salad of tomatoes and melons on a hot summer day. Take that deliciousness to the next level and drizzle with a softly nutty macadamia nut oil and this mango pulp vinegar.  All you need to complete the perfect meal is kickin’ it on the closest Adirondack chair you can find.

3.

Metal bendy straws. Well now. This is just plain fun. Regular straws are just so regular. Thankfully, these do clean up quite easily in the dishwasher and yes, they would be perfect with a frozen margarita.

4.

Polka dotted napkin. You are still feeling carefree this summer and chasing after fireflies, right?  This cheery linen-blended napkin with polka dots just screams carefree. Even if you’re not.

5.

Cast iron garlic roaster. Please tell me that you have tasted roasted garlic. Tasted hot, creamy, and savory garlic spread thinly on a thick slice of homemade bread as you reach over and grab your glass of wine from your portable bamboo wine table and wipe the side of your mouth with your snappy polka dotted napkin.  You look over in the moonlight and smile at your best friend as he/she sips a frozen margarita through an adorable bendy metal straw and asks you sweetly, “may I please have some more of your delicious tomato and melon salad with that tantalizing mango pulp vinegarette?”
