eat your fruits and veggies tip (c)nwafoodie

Sometimes the simplest things are the best.

So many times we end up complicating things and create layers of complexity that just seem to stress us out. When we are stressed, our greatest intentions flounder.

If you (like me) have resolved to eat more fruits and veggies, here is a proven tip.

It’s simple.

Buy a bounty of colorful fruits and veggies.

Wash them thoroughly.

Here comes the simple part.

Wait for it.

Put them within snacking reach.

I know, it’s almost too simple.

By immediately washing cucumbers, apples, and other fruits and veggies that have no need of refrigeration, they are ready for consumption.  Now you have an excuse to buy pretty bowls for the countertop.

Less waste.

More eating.

Eat well, my friends. Eat well.

“Just like becoming an expert in wine–you learn by drinking it, the best you can afford–you learn about great food by finding the best there is, whether simply or luxurious. Then you savor it, analyze it, and discuss it with your companions, and you compare it with other experiences.” – Julia Child
