Well, howdy there.
One of the most Googled phrases regarding flour is “Where can I buy organic bulk flour?” I know this because I also googled that exact phrase!
Around two years, I was specifically looking for Einkorn flour since my favorite podcast hosts from Homemaker Chic raved about it. So, into the Amazon cart my bags of flour would go—shipment after shipment. YIKES, boy was it was expensive to keep purchasing those multiple three-pound bags every month.
I felt like a winner!
Except my pocketbook didn’t. I didn’t think I had any other options.
Ouch!
Fast-forward, I did a little sleuthing and heard about Azure Standard Co-Op. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they not only carry organic, non-GMO grains and flours but also stock over 12,000 affordable, high-quality, healthful foods and deliver them throughout the United States.
The best part?
My Azure drop-off is merely a seven-minute drive from my home!
With over 2,600 pickup locations in rural and urban areas across almost the entire United States, they may be in your neighborhood, too.
Okay, I digressed a bit right there. My bad. You came here to ask a question…
“Where can I find organic bulk flour?”
If you are looking for high-quality bulk and specialty health foods, Azure believes that “everyone should have access to high-quality, organic, non-GMO foods to live long, strong, meaningful lives.” They skip the middle man (or expensive shipping) and make picking up groceries in bulk (or regular size) quantities at delivery drop sites affordable.
A quick search on the Azure website for “bulk wheat” shows 14 different types of wheat grains, each with multiple size offerings. Search for “bulk flour,” and 23 options will pop up, all with various size options.
I started by testing Azure Market Organic Einkorn Flour (Unifine) in a 24 oz bag to compare it with my usual Amazon order. The savings were significant, and I was hooked! From there, I started ordering the larger sizes for significant cost savings.
Then I got hooked on the Azure Market Organic Einkorn Grain berries since I know that wheat berries are suitable for longer-term storage (when appropriately stored!). Because I have a grain mill, this option is highly economical and easy since I can freshly mill flour in the amounts that I want to use when I want it—no spoilage!

Hi Lyndi!
What is EinKorn? What would you use it in place of?

Hey Trina! Einkorn is an ancient wheat that apparently dates back to the time of Jesus Christ. It is non GMO. Used like regular wheat… although it gets a little wetter and needs a bit of adjustment. It’s delicious and has a gorgeous yellow color to it!
