This post contains a sponsored link to a recipe I developed for De Nigris Italian Vinegars. #ItalianVinegar #DrizzleFlavor

Back in 2015 a Canadian online cookware shop interviewed me. It came out of the blue and honestly, it intrigued me. One of the questions they asked me was about time-honored kitchen items that have been redesigned in surprising and innovate.

Q: What are some time-honored kitchen items that have been redesigned in surprising and innovative ways?

A: …Another kitchen item that intrigues me is the Phillips Air Fryer. I don’t fry foods because of the mess and the high heat effect on oils. The Phillips AirFryer seems like it’s too good to be true. But so far, the reviews are good and it may be my next major purchase.

Two years later I was gifted one by my awesome mother-in-law. She heard me talking about it one day and apparently it intrigued her too. I know this because she not only purchased one for Dennis and me but one for herself and allllll of her five grown children! Needless to say, we often pass along recipes, tips and the occasional text photo of our latest masterpieces.

Speaking of sharing recipes, here is an air fryer recipe for salt and vinegar potato chips.

It uses small potatoes, thinly sliced and marinated in De Nigris apple cider vinegar and salt water. The apple cider has more pleasant taste then traditional white vinegar for these chips. It really is quite delicious and satisfying.

Don’t have an air fryer… yet? No worries, the recipe also talk you through how to oven-bake these chips.

For those of you who do have an air fryer… what is your favorite thing to “fry?” Do you have any questions that I can answer?

Happy air frying.

Eat well, my friends. Eat well.

I tried to make potato chips by myself in the oven, but they were too much greasy for my taste. I got an air fryer as a wedding gift and I tried again with this receipt and the result were amazing. Thank you for the guide.

“Just like becoming an expert in wine–you learn by drinking it, the best you can afford–you learn about great food by finding the best there is, whether simply or luxurious.
