fall catalogue inspiration - main (c)nwafoodie

Hello friends! It so great to see you again!

I’ve been out of town the past few weeks with family and loved ones… and I also have a new baby nephew! That means there is one more little munchkin to love on. Isn’t it THE BEST thing being an auntie (or an uncle)?

Another BEST thing about vacations are coming home to a load of mail. No, I promise I am not being sarcastic… I really DO look forward to going through the pile. Every once in a while a handwritten note even makes their way in (like the good old days). And, speaking of the good old days, my favorite part is to go through the catalogues. Yep, forget Pinterest and Instagram for a second, sometimes it is fun to get your fingers flipping through an actual paper catalogue.

This time I had three fall catalogues waiting: Crate & Barrel, Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, and Rejuvenation.

Because I am nothing but hospitable and want you to be fully informed with the best inspirations for hospitality, here are my recommendations from each catalogue.

Crate & Barrel

This “thankful” trivet is awesome. What a gentle reminder to be thankful every time a serving platter is placed upon it. For $19.95, I can swing this.

Crate & Barrel

This tablecloth is festive. In fact, it pretty much would take the place of any decorations, don’t you think? $89.95 for a rectangular 54”x120”.

Williams Sonoma

This acorn and leaf dish is pretty. While I think just one would be a perfect little appetizer plate, they are only available in sets of four. At $14.95 each, these would make fabulous hostess gifts.

Pottery Barn

Doesn’t this vintage wood bread bowl add such warmth? For $49.50 it can be a bread bowl one day and used for decorations on the coffee table the next.

Rejuvenation

These kitchen stools… just look at the quality of these saddle counter stools. Doesn’t it just scream, “Hey, pull up a chair. Enjoy some bread from this vintage wooden bread bowl. I just pulled it out of the oven and it rested on this awesome “thankful” trivet. Here, put a slice on this acorn plate. Oh, you like it? I will give you one of my extra plates.”

What is YOUR favorite catalogue or magazine you browse and wish through?

Happy hospitality.

Eat well, my friends. Eat well.
