Disclosure: I am serving as an ambassador for #BITENWA, a three-day food festival June 20-22 and part of #NWAChampionship Week. This post sponsored by BITENWA.
Calling all foodies in the Northwest Arkansas area! Scratch that… calling all foodies everywhere and especially those within driving distance to Northwest Arkansas!
Listen up and pay attention because I don’t want you to miss out. Every year the BITE tickets sell out weeks before the event and every year many of my friends lament that they regretting putting off buying their tickets. Sadly, they missed out on what I personally believe is our best culinary event in the state.
This is the fourth year of the festival and the second year being held at 8thStreet Market in Bentonville’s Market District. It’s near the square, although not quite walking distance. If you’re worried about parking due to all the growth and construction in downtown Bentonville, don’t be. Organizers are dedicated to ensuring that everyone will be completely informed about parking availability prior to the event. Hooray!
7 reasons why you should attend BITE NWA:
- BITE is THE perfect date night. At just $30 per person, your ticket gives you access to all the food and drinks that you could possible want to sample. And best of all? Seconds are encouraged.
- BITE is the perfect girls-night-out or boys-night-out destination. Seriously, you’ve been meaning to have them over anyhow, why not let someone else do the cooking and pour the drinks?
- BITE is family-friendly and kid-friendly. Okay, okay, the festival may technically be centered on adult fun, but why not bring along that kiddo of yours with the foodie tendencies? Fun fact, children under twelve are free.
- BITE tickets would make a super-awesome Mother’s Day gift or Father’s Day gift!
- BITE not only benefits you it benefits others in our community too! This event serves the NWA Food Bank and Brightwater: A Center for the Study of Food.
- BITE introduces you to all those new restaurants and breweries you’ve been meaning to check out. All in one place. All inclusive.
- BITE’s location is at the 8thStreet Market in Bentonville, home to Brightwater and other up and coming food destinations like YeYo’s, Markham & Fritz, Bike Rack Brewing Company and the soon-to-be-opening conversation destination, The Holler. I’ve been watching the construction progress and that place looks to be super exciting!
Those are your seven reasons, so now let’s talk through the details of those three festival nights. Check here for more information.
